About James Hyland

From Co. Cork, James Hyland cut his teeth in the entertainment industry at the ripe age of 12. From 16, he began working in Tipp FM, Cork's 96 & 103FM, Live95FM and Newstalk 106FM.  During this time James experimented with the production of radio commercials and quickly built a small client-base. This new venture soon grew to be a commercial success. 

Recognising its potential, James decided to take the business closer to Dublin and Creative Sounds was born.
Creative Sounds is one of the most respected commercial production houses in Europe, with clients right across Europe as well as Australia, South Africa and the United States.

He also immersed himself in the entertainment industry and began organising and promoting concerts under his company MIG Live. James is now also managing a brand new pop band named “Industry” and is gearing up to launch them across Europe this summer.

About Lee Walsh

At 19, Lee teamed up with James Hyland and developed Creative Sounds. In Lee's first year with Creative Sounds he was nominated in the Irish Radio Advertising Awards in the "Green Horn Category”.  This award recognises the best new talent in the country.  

Now, Lee has earned recognition from the world’s biggest names for his production skills and is widely considered to be one of the leading figures in commercial audio and video production.

About Lar Wright

With nearly a decade in the production industry under his belt, Lar Wright looks after the audio end of Creative Sounds.

Having worked on projects for most local and national stations in Ireland and clients across the globe, as well as documentaries for RTE and BBC Radio, Lar joined Creative Sounds in 2007.

With a family background in media and engineering, (his dad is a sound technician with RTE and worked on the 1960's offshore "super pirate" Radio Caroline), the apple doesn't fall far from the tree as they say.

Although he's tone deaf, he still manages to produce some pretty good stuff! Just don’t ask him to sing!

About Michael Brett

Michael Brett has been involved in the media for the last 18 years, working with some of the leading commercial radio stations in Ireland.

Michael started his career with Radio Kilkenny as a presenter, before moving to Tipp Fm and Cork’s 96 & 103FM, where he was station manager.

In 2006, Michael joined Creative Sounds and we’ve not been able to get rid of him since!

We’re not really sure what Michael does, but the place would fall down without him…he makes a great coffee!
